Attendance and Make-Up Policy

Attendance Requirement:
Students are expected to make every reasonable effort to attend all scheduled club meetings. Regular attendance is critical for active participation and contribution to club activities.

Absence Allowance:
Each student is permitted up to two (2) unexcused absences from club meetings without penalty. Students who maintain attendance within this limit will receive full points for Attendance in the club's grading or evaluation system.

Excused Absences:
In the event of an absence due to a valid reason (e.g., medical, family emergency, school-related activities), students may request an excused absence. To do so, they must complete the Excused Absence Form and provide appropriate documentation to support their request (e.g., doctor's note, school administration letter). Approved excused absences will not count toward the two allowed absences and will not impact the student's Attendance score.

Form Submission:
Students are required to submit the Excused Absence Form within 7 days of the missed meeting. Failure to submit the form within this period may result in the absence being considered unexcused.

Exceeding Absence Limits:
If a student exceeds the two allowed unexcused absences without obtaining approval for additional excused absences, their Attendance score may be reduced accordingly.
